Position Overview The Riverside Research Open Innovation Center's Secure and Resilient Systems (SRS) research group is seeking a Chief Scientist to help take our team to the next level by shaping and guiding the group's technical strategy and developing and implementing a commercialization approach that is mission-aligned for maximum impact. The Chief Scientist will work with SRS leadership to understand the technological offerings currently being developed and will design and implement a strategy for moving these technologies into the field with both Government and Industry partners. The Chief Scientist will also work to align internal investments with Government and Industry gaps and will work with our principal investigators and scientists to conduct research and development to fill these gaps. Additionally the Chief Scientist will be instrumental in mentoring and training the current and future generation of principal investigators in the group to help us continue to grow and scale. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, a proven track record in strategy planning and execution, and the ability to effectively align cross-functional stakeholders and research staff towards a shared vision. This role is highly unique and requires a broad set of experience in multiple technology areas. The ideal candidate will have worked in multiple technology areas, bringing them together into one greater vision for a more secure future. Responsibilities

Qualifications Required:
Global Comp $165,000 - $275,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
