Description
Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for grounds clean up, snow removal, and assisting the Facilities Maintenance Lead/Supervisor with other facilities maintenance duties as instructed. This position also includes welding, working on small engine equipment, hydraulics, and other similar tasks.
Come Build with Us by:
  • Ensuring grounds are kept clean at all TURBOCAM facilities, including picking up downed tree limbs, branches and debris.
  • Assisting with landscaping: planting, pruning, spreading mulch...
  • Performing seasonal grounds maintenance as requested including mowing lawns, raking, plowing, and shoveling snow.
  • Assisting direct lead/supervisor with HVAC issues, painting, small construction, repairs and welding projects when requested.
  • Communicating with direct lead/supervisor on a daily basis regarding progress and new assignments.
  • Performing Safety and Security inspections and checks.
  • Acting as a member of the on call team.
  • Performing other duties as necessary.
Bring Your Expertise:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have 5+ years' experience in the maintenance field including plumbing, electrical and construction.
  • A strong mechanical background, with the ability to diagnose and work on small horsepower engines and larger diesel equipment.
  • Must have basic HVAC skills.
  • Proficient in work with hydraulics.
  • Proficient in Mig and Arc welding.
  • Proficient use of all power tools: table saw, drill press, compound miter saw, etc.
  • Experience with and ability to operate snowplow, tractors, front-end loaders, trailering, small engine equipment (lawnmower, weed wacker or similar machinery) and follow appropriate safety measures.
  • Ability to lead and mentor.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Must possess valid driver's license from his/her state of residence, forklift certifiable, able to obtain DOT health card.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel desired.
  • Must have ability to pass medical evaluation for respirator use and abide by requirements for wearing respiratory protection.
  • Must have a range of motion sufficient to permit climbing stairs and ladders, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended periods of time while performing duties.
  • Must be able to lift minimum of fifty pounds in a safe manner and request assistance when warranted.
  • Must be able to work extended/flexible hours when needed.
