Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City Healthcare options are available for staff members 401k plan with company match PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Empire Pass Guest Services Agent's main objective is to ensure guest, owner, and employee satisfaction at the front desk by fulfilling the Deer Valley Difference. RESPONSIBILITIES: Checking guests and owners in and out at Empire Pass properties Serving as the primary guest services agent for the Silver Strike building Giving guests and owners directions and information Concierge duties, including making reservations for restaurants and activities Assisting guests with reasonable requests Residence inspections Settling guest balances upon departure Handling of cash and credit card transactions Assisting with administrative and clerical functions as assigned by the management team Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to provide excellent customer service Knowledge of the Park City area Ability to communicate clearly (spoken and written communication) General understanding of computers and computer operating systems Ability to maintain composure under pressure Self-motivated Ability to work positively with different personalities DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Flex Year Round - may have periods of layoff or reduced hours PAY RATE: $20.00 per hour Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
