Job Description:

The Batch Release Manager is responsible for delivering results against quarterly site revenue targets. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and others to ensure timely and efficient batch release processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Batch Release Management:Oversee the release and shipment of all CMO batches, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements.
  2. Quarterly Release Planning:Develop and implement quarterly release plans to ensure timely and efficient batch releases, aligning with market demand and organizational objectives.
  3. Reports and Tools: As needed, develop reports and tools that give departments visibility to schedule priorities and progress against targets.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with planning, manufacturing, finance, quality assurance, and commercial teams to resolve any issues that may impact batch release timelines and portfolio performance.
  5. Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making and drive improvements.
  6. Continuous Improvement:Manage small-scale process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, quality, and cycle times in the batch release process.
  7. Quality Assurance:As needed, interface with management and site quality resources.
  8. Leadership Communication:Regularly communicate batch release status, challenges, and achievements to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  9. Regular Follow-up:Conduct regular follow-up with cross-functional teams to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure timely completion of batch release activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Arts or Science in a science discipline required.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience required.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Lean/six sigma certification desired.
  • Project management certification desired.
  • Related pharmaceutical or FDA regulated industry experience desired.
  • Supervisory or other leadership experience desired.

Shift: Monday - Friday day shift

Compensation & Benefits: $84,000 - 137,300 annually with opportunity for growth and annual raises.
