Finishing/Lamination MACHINE SET-UP

TITLE: Machine Set-up

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for setting up finishing production equipment to ensure acceptable quality and quantity of products are produced against efficiency standards.

Work Hours Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prefer HS diploma, GED
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and good analytical skills required.
• Previous profile lamination and print equipment setup experience preferred.
• Sound communication and teamwork skills
• Available for scheduled overtime when required
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Properly set up, operate and troubleshoot lamination and print equipment.
• Perform regular quality check.
• Maintain budget rate standards.
• Manually able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must successfully complete forklift training and qualify for forklift license.

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Will be cross trained in other Finishing positions.

TRAINING:

• Will receive specific machine training, safety training and forklift license training.
• Will receive hazardous waste training.
• Will receive continuous on the job training and assistance from co-workers and supervisor.
