The Role:

In collaboration with North American and global teams, the Head of Supply Chain North America is responsible for structuring and implementing the supply chain strategy for the North America Area. This role drives the execution of Group-level supply chain objectives across production sites and operations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico (as applicable), ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance with Roquette's ethical, quality, and safety standards. The position requires close partnership with the EVP Supply Chain, Heads of Business Units (BUs), Head of Manufacturing, and Sales & Marketing teams to align regional activities with corporate goals.

The position will be onsite in Geneva.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $203,680-$275,700. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

In collaboration with Commercial, Operations, Finance, R&D, Global Planning Teams, and Corporate Leadership:

1. Strategic Implementation:

  • Execute the supply chain strategy defined at the Group level for the North America Area, working closely with the EVP Supply Chain, Head of Manufacturing, Heads of BUs, and Head of Sales & Marketing.
  • Translate corporate resource allocations, budget targets, and validated Business Plans into actionable supply chain initiatives tailored to the North American market.

2. End-to-End Supply Chain Management:

  • Oversee all stages of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) process, including demand planning, supply planning, and demand-supply balancing, ensuring seamless execution and performance.
  • Coordinate North America Area activities to develop and execute a Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SI&OP) consensus plan in partnership with global teams.
  • Manage Transport, Customs, Warehousing, and Customer Service activities related to customer orders and saleable products.
  • Set Inventory Policy and goals for saleable products, overseeing the overall coordination of product inventory and cash position.

3. Operational Excellence and Transformation:

  • Drive the implementation of supply chain organization, best practices, and Information Systems (IS) tools as defined by Corporate, aligning with transformation projects to achieve Supply Chain Excellence and exceptional customer service.
  • Lead a continuous improvement approach rooted in Lean Manufacturing principles, enhancing flexibility, effectiveness, and reliability of supply chain processes.

4. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements (safety, quality, food/pharma safety) and corporate sovereign processes, implementing action plans related to quality, customers, customs, and insurance.
  • Uphold Roquette's unique identity by adhering to the Group Code of Conduct, Ethics Charter, and Quality & Safety policies in all operations.

5. Project Leadership and Innovation:

  • Contribute to and lead North America-specific supply chain projects, structuring and piloting initiatives that align with corporate milestones and the three-year transformation program.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, ranging from process improvement to breakthrough conceptualization, to meet evolving market and customer needs.

6. Autonomy and Accountability:

  • Exercise autonomy in allocating resources within the North America Area's scope, building and executing strategic supply chain plans while remaining accountable for results and performance per Corporate guidelines.
  • Act as a change driver, empowering teams and aligning supply chain operations with market dynamics and customer demands.

7. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • FR1+2, Customer Complaints, On-Time In-Full (OTIF), Inventory (Days on Hand), Cost (Variable Costs and General Fixed Costs).

What You'll Need:

Functional, Leadership and Technical Competencies

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years in Supply Chain management, with significant expertise in SI&OP (demand and supply) gained in a multi-national environment, preferably within food, pharma, or ingredient industries.
  • Proven track record as a change driver with the ability to adapt to and influence diverse cultural contexts.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for operational excellence and innovation.
  • Deep expertise in supply chain management, including planning, logistics, master data, purchasing, and customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing excellence, project management, safety, quality, and internal controls.
  • Data-driven decision-making with exceptional problem-solving and synthesis skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Advanced Planning Systems (APS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft tools.
  • Proven ability to lead through change and work effectively across diverse cultures in a multi-national environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to execution and team empowerment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on building consensus across Commercial, Operations, and global teams.
  • Strong acumen in SI&OP (demand and supply) processes.
  • Ability to manage and develop talent within a geographically dispersed team.

Specificities:

  • Business Trips: 25-30% travel required to support North American operations and collaboration with global teams.
  • Reporting Line: Hierarchically reports to the EVP Supply Chain.
  • Team Management: Direct team size approximately 15; total team size 80-85 (TBD based on North America Area structure).
