We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as Product Training (Junior to Craftsman) available at multiple locations (National Capital Region, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA, Offutt AFB, Base, NE and Kirtland AFB, NM)

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides full time support to Training activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:



  • Provides full time support to Training activities including wargames and exercises.
  • Directly supports Training as the primary or support designer/author/developer of all training content and developer/author of all written training material.
  • Coordinates with Technology Developer, Integrator and Tester and Field Engineer to ensure material is production ready for training events.
  • Plans, designs and develops training material.
  • Evaluates virtual and classroom training programs, systems to meet all training objectives.
  • Conducts training requirement analysis and criteria development for evaluation.
  • Leads/supports the development of comprehensive training programs, creating customized training solutions that address specific organizational needs.
  • Designs instructional strategies that cater to different learning styles, ensuring trainees engage effectively with the material.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align training programs with business goals and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Assists in developing training materials and delivering instructional sessions, supporting senior trainers in organizing workshops, seminars, and hands-on training exercises.
  • Conducts basic training sessions for small groups or individual learners, focusing on foundational skills and knowledge.
  • Provides learners with technical support and feedback, helping them apply new concepts and techniques in their roles.
  • Engages in continuous learning, participating in professional development to expand instructional skills and stay updated on the latest training methodologies.
  • Participates in the development, testing, maintenance and delivery of training programs and related materials in support of customer products.
  • May assist in the development and establishment of course content and objectives.
  • Conducts training sessions and assists in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
  • Updates course documentation on a continuous basis to ensure timeliness and relevance
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve Group's products or services.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
  • Acts as a mentor or advisory resource for colleagues with less experience; may run small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.

  • May have formal, but limited, supervision of team members at a Department level to include verification of time cards, oversight of daily tasks/schedules and input into performance appraisals.
  • May be the primary customer contact for assigned area of responsibility
  • Consults with management and supervisory personnel to identify specific training needs based on project processes, changes, and other factors.
  • Formulates training policies and schedules, utilizing knowledge of identified training needs.
  • Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
  • Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related discipline.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of DOD, Agency, and/or industry standards and engineering requirements.


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree in business related disciplines that focus on supply chain, purchasing and/or logistics or the related combination of education and experience that provides knowledge and exposure to the fundamental theories, principles and concepts within the specified discipline.

May be entry level for those with an advanced degree. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:Active Secret required, TS/SCI preferred
