L2:

Estimated hourly pay: $25.81(minimum) - $32.26(midpoint) - $38.71(maximum)

L3:

Estimated hourly pay: $30.19(minimum) - $37.74(midpoint) - $45.29(maximum)

This position performs diverse and intermediate level design assignments for our New Product Introduction (NPI) team. They will work in an innovative environment where creative design concepts are turned into new products or factory upgrades.

What you will be doing...

L2:

  • Ability to understand and apply fundamental Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing or International equivalent at an intermediate level

  • Must be able to create 3D models of simpler designs and create complex 2D drawings to acceptable drafting practices

  • Must be able to perform entry level linear stackup studies

  • Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes

L3:

  • Advanced level CAD and drafting.

  • Ability to understand and apply Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing or International equivalent at an advanced level

  • Must be able to 3D model several complex devices and smaller housings

  • Must be able to perform intermediate level linear stackup studies

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes

What we are looking for...

L2:

  • Vocational training, college coursework, a 2-year degree, technical certificate, or relevant experience preferred.

  • Less than 2 years of MCAD drafting experience with knowledge of machining, fabrication, and manufacturing required.

  • Proficiency in intermediate CAD software, basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, ERP systems), and general office equipment usage.

  • Commitment to quality and professionalism, with potential green belt designation applied to drafting issues.

L3:

  • Associate's degree, 2-year technical degree, certificate, or relevant experience required; continuing education related to the position is necessary.

  • 5+ years of designer experience or a combination of a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and relevant experience required.

  • Advanced CAD software skills, computer proficiency (including ERP systems), and commitment to continuous improvement activities.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.
