Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for a Material Coordinator at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for resolving manufacturing material shortages resulting from loss or damage after the material has been planned, purchased and released to manufacturing. Facilitate accurate and timely reassignment of raw, purchased or fabricated material between warehouse, SOC's and contractors. Investigate material shortages seeking root cause and working with management team for corrective action. Assist Manufacturing Material Handlers and Foreman with material hand-off and dedicated storage locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
