Position Type: Full Time (40 Hours)
Start time/ Shift/Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts per week

Your role with us:
Located in South Salem, Skyline Village is the largest family practice clinic in our medical group. This clinic includes a multi-specialty patient-centered care team of 20+ primary care physicians and advanced practice clinicians, care management, RN triage, medical assistants, clinical pharmacists, licensed clinical social worker and PMHNPs, as well as onsite specialty and lab services.

What you'll do:

  • Assesses patients and obtains brief history. Alerts physicians to potential life-threatening situations. Recognizes critical diagnostic data and alerts the physician in a timely fashion. Recognizes changes in patient condition and reports appropriately.
  • Assesses and documents patient's vital signs and other pertinent information upon admission. Reassesses patient's condition following therapeutic intervention.
  • Coordinates the execution of all physician orders. Determines priorities of care and intervenes in those cases falling outside the parameters of normal clinic protocol
  • Communicates with co-workers to facilitate continuity of care and maintenance of steady patient progress through the department.
  • Ensures adequate discharge instructions are given to each patient, that family members are included in discharge instructions if available, that patients are referred for future care appropriately, and the community resource information is available to patients.
  • Performs waived laboratory testing procedures according to protocols; demonstrates continued competency in patient testing, quality control and proficiency testing.
  • Accurately documents patient visits, telephone calls, refill requests and other encounters in Epic Ambulatory, ensuring others are able to follow events with certainty.
  • Demonstrates adequate knowledge of and dedication to adhering to organizational, departmental and regulatory compliance standards.

Background/what we are looking for (MQ's)

  • Minimum of one (1) year directly transferable experience strongly preferred. Not required.
  • National certification from NCCT, NHA, AMT, or AAMA required at time of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification required at time of hire.
