Overview
The Security Office Coordinator executes clerical and secretarial duties for Safety & Security department. Responsible for processing and maintaining systems for Carle identification badges, access control system and filing of safety, security, parking, transportation and guest services documentation. Qualifications N/a Responsibilities Coordinates the day to day operations of the Security Department Access C ontrol System (SiPass) and software to ensure that the system is working efficiently and properly. Will identify and correct issues (troubleshoot) that occur. Answer telephone, take and deliver messages according to department communication standards. Performs a variety of clerical duties in support of maintaining, compiling, auditing, and/or processing files. Performs general office administrative work such as filing, ordering supplies, keeping inventory and distributing mail. Responsible for completion of various departmental reports. Assist the Director of Safety & Security in preparing reports. Assists Security and patient units with the day-to-day operations of the hospitals Infant Security System (HUGS) and software to ensure that the system is working efficiently and properly. Will identify and correct issues (troubleshoot) that occur. Assists in the coordination of administrative and staffing activities in assigned department. Coordinates the rental parking space program by administering access tags to controlled parking lots. Distributes parking stickers to employees and keeps records on file. Opens, sorts and handles all incoming/outgoing mail and distributes to appropriate staff. Provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support for department. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $16.03per hour - $25.97per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
