As a trusted partner, you'll support M&A, R&D outsourcing, procurement, supply chain, channel partner program and strategic initiatives driving compliant global business outcomes for the Network Infrastructure Business Group. Providing advice on AI technologies, covering research, licensing, deployment, and supplier negotiations this is a great opportunity to draw on your legal expertise in relation to procurement within the technology sector. Working with leaders and product teams you will tackle complex legal challenges with agility and innovation. This position reports to the General Counsel of Network Infrastructure (NI)


  • Provide strategic legal support for R&D projects related to the development of new and existing products and features.
  • Drive and enforce the Channel Partner Program legal strategy in close collaboration with the regional legal teams.
  • Provide strategic legal advice for the deployment of new AI technologies and related fields in all of the Network Infrastructure business divisions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and negotiate NDAs, MOUs, OEM agreements, and agreements for R&D outsourcing and publicly funded projects in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and Sustainability functions.
  • Support agreements, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution for purchasing components, features, and services driven by the NI Strategic Sourcing Teams.
  • Participate in governance forums concerning Supply Chain and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Draft, develop, and maintain procurement contract templates and playbooks in the template repository, removing obsolete ones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business goals, fostering innovation and growth.
  • Train and develop competency for various legal and business target groups
  • Support automation and digitization activities related, as needed {e.g., e-signature, CLM updates, signing desk, supplier LOA tool, etc..)

  • Qualified lawyer with extensive experience in telecommunications, R&D, and supply contracting.
  • Extensive experience in business advisory on technology, procurement and related topics such as regulatory and IPR.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business strategy and translate it into legal priorities for the team.
  • Capability to share knowledge and the latest technology trends with the wider legal team promoting knowledge, contributing to shaping the go-to-market legal strategy.
  • Experience of working in complex highly matrixed large international organization in a similar position.
  • Collaborative work style with diverse teams in a matrix environment and across various levels.
  • Outstanding relationship-building, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and presentation abilities.
