About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Program Controls Specialist to join our growing Advisory Services team. You will manage internal program controls elements and contract management to ensure the successful delivery of programs/projects within budget and on schedule. You may work out of any Parametrix office, with the option for hybrid or fully remote work.

Our team works for a variety of clients, including water/wastewater, transit and transportation, and environmental planning and compliance providing owner's, program, and delivery advisory services. You Will:

  • Develop and manage internal control systems for tracking scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Support scope and fee development; support contract negotiations and subconsultant management.
  • Interpret and enforce contract compliance; manage change documentation and tracking.
  • Conduct earned value analysis and prepare performance reports with variance recommendations.
  • Review program/project schedules for budget/scope alignment and perform process audits for improvements.
  • Manage program/project setup, financial tracking, and monthly invoicing, including subconsultant coordination.
  • Maintain program/project documentation, action logs, and QA/QC compliance.
  • Participate in program/project meetings, including facilitation and development and distribution of agenda, notes, and action items.
  • Provide internal training on program/project control tools and systems.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years experience in program/project controls, coordination, or related roles in the AEC industry.
  • Experience with program/project controls systems and analytical tools.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Project Management Certification preferred (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
  • Experience with public sector clients and program controls implementation.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, and Bluebeam is preferred.

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $90,000-$115,000.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
