What You'll Do:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k) plans
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA
- Maintain accurate benefits records in HRIS systems and process updates for new hires, terminations, and life events
- Coordinate with benefits vendors and brokers to resolve issues and ensure seamless program delivery
- Prepare and distribute benefits communications, including open enrollment materials and policy updates
- Compile data and generate reports on benefits utilization, costs, and trends
- Support audits and ensure accurate documentation for compliance purposes
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
What You Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a similar HR role preferred
- Knowledge of benefits regulations (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA) and HR policies
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
