Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Banking Analyst with a strong background in financial analysis, credit analysis, and client relationship support. Analyst will provide day-to-day execution of various lending and corporate banking products and will support all business development efforts of the team. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating corporate clients' financial performance, preparing credit memoranda, and supporting the execution of complex banking solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team working with large and mid-sized healthcare clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial and credit analysis of corporate clients, including historical financial performance, cash flow modeling, and capital structure assessment
  • Prepare credit memos, pitch books, term sheets and other client presentation materials in support of lending and advisory opportunities
  • Assist senior bankers in structuring, underwriting, and executing credit facilities and other banking products
  • Monitor portfolio performance, track covenants, and identify early warning signals of credit deterioration
  • Participate in due diligence and client meetings to support transaction origination and execution
  • Coordinate information flow with clients and prospects, manage follow-up items with internal products partners, provide periodic deal updates to the team
  • Collaborate with product partners (e.g., Treasury, FX, DX, Equipment Finance) to deliver integrated banking solutions
  • Stay current on industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory requirements impacting the portfolio
  • Support internal reporting, compliance, and risk management requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong educational background with a Bachelor's degree with coursework in finance and accounting
  • Three years of experience working in corporate banking or similar financial services roles
  • Background in financial analysis, credit assessment and client relationship support
  • Excellent accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills
  • Ability to summarize complex financial information
  • Familiarity with syndicated lending, acquisition finance a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of bank products, but not required
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Outstanding work ethic
  • Must be willing to travel when necessary
  • Series 79, 63 and SIE licenses preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $115,000 to $125,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience, education, licenses, and certifications. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
