Overview

This position manages a team of leaders that oversee the Wealth & Brokerage sales support teams. Responsible for the development, build out and execution of teams in servicing Wealth and Brokerage clients. Collaborates on operational efficiency and client experience. Partners with regional Wealth & Brokerage leadership and operational support teams in implementing a national client servicing model. Oversight of financial management, compliance or operational audits with all applicable regulations, and business continuity activities.


Responsibilities

  • Sales Support and Operations - Build out an enterprise client service delivery model that covers Trust, Private Banking and Brokerage (First Citizens Investor Services). Manages operational risk and service quality of overall Wealth team, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and resolving complex service issues. Works with operations, legal, and compliance teams to ensure mitigation of controllable operational loss. Assists and advises various committees and project groups. Collaborates on the identification, planning, and execution of process improvements.
  • Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned leaders. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development.
  • Business Strategy Support - Assists in the development and implementation of tactics that achieve overall wealth & brokerage partnership and growth goals within the enterprise. Ensures proper level of engagement and partnership between support and sales associates to meet growth, compliance, and regulatory objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Banking or Wealth Operations/Service in a supervisory role OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Banking or Wealth Operations/Service in a supervisory role

License or Certification Type: Possess valid Series 24, 7, 63, 65 or 66, and state-specific life and health insurance licenses

Required Skill(s): Knowledge of Wealth Banking, Trust Administration, and Retail Banking.

If hired in San Francisco or New York, the base pay for this position is generally between $190,000 and $260,000. If hired in Boston, the base pay for this position is generally between $185,000 and $250,000. If hired in Raleigh or Charlotte, the base pay for this position is generally between $160,000 and $218,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
