Aon is looking for an Investment Consulting Performance Analyst in Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • An Investment Consulting Performance Analyst uses technical, analytical, and communication skills to support consultants and clients in all aspects of data-related work.
  • Takes accountability and ownership of work.
  • Balances financial account statements for clients' investment portfolios.
  • Audits rates of return and reconciles discrepancies of returns calculated by our performance system versus those calculated by custodians and/or investment managers.
  • Finalizes financial information from multiple sources to prepare quarterly investment performance reports.
  • Gathers manager research documents pertinent to clients' portfolios, bringing them to the attention of senior client team members.
  • Updates Risk Analyzer with cash flows to produce defined benefit client dashboards.
  • Responds to ad hoc requests from clients and/or consultants.
  • Composes written interpretations of investment portfolio results and prepares discussion guides for client meetings.
  • Meets with senior members of client teams to discuss relevant client matters and/or issues.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of capital markets and investments and/or keen interest in developing.
  • Proficiency with specific software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • Bachelor's degree (majors such as accounting, business administration, economics, finance, mathematics, and statistics are generally preferred).
  • Demonstrates excellent writing and communication skills.
  • 0-1+ years of experience in the Investment space.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $60,000 to $67,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
