Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM/MM Analyst to support and enhance our SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC6 on HANA systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, analyzing, and optimizing the SAP MM module to ensure seamless procurement, inventory management, and logistics execution. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and functional consultants to drive process improvements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Configure, customize, and support the SAP MM module in both SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC6 on HANA, ensuring efficient materials management, procurement, and inventory processes.
  • Work closely with business users to understand requirements, analyze gaps, and design solutions to optimize procurement and supply chain operations.
  • Define and implement release strategies, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and approval workflows based on company policies.
  • Support integration between SAP MM and other modules such as SD, PP, WM, and FI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, resolve system issues, and enhance overall system performance.
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications for reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
  • Conduct system testing, user training, and documentation of SAP MM-related processes.
  • Assist in data migration, master data management, and cutover planning during SAP implementations, migrations, or upgrades.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP MM-related issues in both SAP S/4HANA and ECC6 on HANA environments.
  • Stay up to date with SAP best practices, new functionalities, and industry trends to recommend process improvements.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and support, with experience in both SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC6 on HANA.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, vendor management, and invoice verification processes.
  • Experience with release strategies, approval workflows, and purchasing configurations in SAP.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules (SD, PP, WM, FI, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into system solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • SAP certification in MM, S/4HANA, or ECC6 on HANA is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution industries.
  • Knowledge of Fiori apps, Ariba, and EDI integration.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP implementation, migration, or upgrade projects.
