Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager in San Mateo, CA to champion innovation by facilitating research projects and cultivation of engineering ideas. Requires a Master's degree in Engineering Management, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience coordinating with product and cross functional teams to evaluate story points, hold Scrums, perform capacity planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; planning sprint releases; running sync up meetings; reporting to stakeholders with trends, insights and forecasts regarding capacity planning, release timelines and project performance through data analysis; preparing and maintaining project artifacts including stand-up notes, project plans, sprint retrospectives, project release calendars, and release checklists; identifying risks including resource unavailability, scope creep, deviating from the critical path, and communicating timely to stakeholders; documenting project discussions and release checklists; facilitating product backlog grooming through categorization and prioritization of features by partnering with product owners and engineering managers; tracking project risks and performance through sprint planning and sprint retrospectives; and, documenting processes and maintaining project artifacts including traceability matrixes, technical specification documents and regression test suites. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.
