As the Senior Corporate Marketing Manager, you will guide the marketing efforts for the Airports Authority.Through a team of content managers, graphic designers, and videographers, develops, implements, and executes marketing strategies, plans/programs, and marketing materials to promote revenue growth, air service growth, customer loyalty, and satisfaction at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport. Performs related functions. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Leads the development of airport marketing campaign strategies, communicates with stakeholders, and implements them. Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts, conversion rate, and actionable next steps. Leads the development of compelling marketing content and creative marketing materials, including graphics, scripts, and videos that drive marketing messages and achieve results. Develops/implements marketing materials to promote Airports and the products and services offered to customers as part of their travel experience. Leverages relevant forms of media (radio, print, TV, web, digital) to target messages and passenger segments. Provides oversight of marketing campaign strategy and execution for internal revenue partners such as parking, concessions, airline business development, and online shopping. Leads marketing support to all Airports Authority Offices; oversees all facets of the creation and production of videos for the Airports Authority and provides strategy and direction to the marketing team to ensure proper messaging and effective results. Manages the Airports Authority's branding policies and use of brand assets, ensuring the use of brand adheres to established standards.Conceptualizes and establishes visual design standards/patterns to create a consistent look across the Airport Authority's print, digital, and web marketing materials, including ensuring that WCAG accessibility standards are met. Leads promotional marketing strategies and concepts (in-terminal customer engagement events, conference booths, and sponsorships as applicable), in coordination with stakeholders. Represents the Airports Authority at marketing events and verbally conveys key messages to attendees. Manages the strategic marketing direction with internal/external stakeholders to meet corporate goals and maximize the value of marketing campaigns and strategies. Ensure that deliverables and tasks are met by the marketing team based upon priorities. Develops the Airports Authority's annual marketing plan and budget, incorporating input from senior executives, the marketing team, and department leaders; presents recommendations to senior management as appropriate. Identifies and utilizes marketing channels that are most cost-effective in reaching and engaging targeted audiences and increases the Airports Authority's brand exposure. Leads the identification and negotiation of in-kind marketing partnerships. Collaborate with revenue marketing managers to extend Airports Authority branding outside the Airports, maximizing the value of owned assets and minimizing costs. Provides editorial supervision for the airport-branded Fly Washington Magazine, which includes strategy, concept presentations, and editing process to meet timely launch and revenue goals. Conducts market research to determine market requirements and appeal of short- and long-range strategies/programs; use analytics to define marketing content and strategies. Supports the Director in providing marketing strategy campaign documents and executive presentations. Establishes a database of marketing assets and maintains knowledge of each channel's current content. Leads the collaboration with marketing and concessions strategy and social media and audience engagement managers to conceptualize events that support marketing strategies (such as in-terminal customer engagement events, social media influencer events, airline conference booths, and sponsorships as applicable). Leads the auditing process of on-site activations and installations to ensure accessibility, customer satisfaction, and validity. Represents the Airports Authority at marketing events and verbally conveys key messages to attendees. Manages the procurement of external contractors and resources to execute marketing plans and serves as Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR); manages all third-party advertising and marketing agency relationships. Builds relationships with regional tourism agencies and develops collaborative joint marketing opportunities that encourage airport loyalty and promote the use of DCA and IAD. Attends professional and civic conferences and other events to make presentations and speeches. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Seven years of progressively responsible experience in marketing that includes: Four years managing a team of creative staff (such as videographers, graphic designers), conducting marketing research, producing marketing branding and promotions design, and developing, planning, and executing marketing plans. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Proficient in marketing and economic principles and concepts to develop, implement, execute, and manage marketing strategies and programs. Knowledge of print, video, radio, digital, and emerging marketing channels and ability to effectively leverage these to drive growth and engagement with target customer segments. Knowledge of, and ability to apply, best practices in measuring marketing impact and effectiveness, and skill in measuring the effectiveness/success of executed marketing plans/ programs/strategies. Knowledge of supervisory principles and the ability to manage the operations and creative strategy of videographers, graphic designers, and project managers. Ability to speak and write effectively, with emphasis on presenting marketing messages to senior executives. Skill in using a computer and office software to review creative assets, with emphasis on graphics, design, and publishing software such as Canva, Photoshop, and inDesign. Proficiency in utilizing project management software such as Teams, Asana, or Trello to assign tasks and manage teams. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Extensive experience in managing creative agencies for marketing campaigns. Experience in marketing for airports or the aviation industry. EDUCATION A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES A state driver's license in good standing. NECESSARY SPECIAL FACTORS May travel to domestic and international cities to participate in trade shows, conferences, seminars and meetings. Work is typically reviewed in progress and upon completion for quantity, quality, timeliness, customer service, teamwork, adherence to guidelines, and other factors.
