What We Do Be part of a transformative team that is shaping the way First American builds and delivers world-class technology products that fuel the real estate industry. We are looking for a curious and proactive Senior Product Operations Manager who thrives in driving operational rigor and is excited to enable our product development teams to create high-quality user experiences.
As a Senior Product Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling and accelerating product teams. You will take a systems-thinking approach to improving how our teams work, helping them move fast, and scale effectively without unnecessary friction. Your work will focus on enhancing alignment and collaboration, improving decision-making, and ensuring product teams have the right structures, support, and tools to do their best work.
You are a strategic operator with a keen ability to spot opportunities for improvement and drive change through influence rather than authority. You champion forward-thinking and practical problem solving. The ideal candidate is a former Product Manager or Product Operations Manager who deeply understands the craft of product management - someone who has built products, navigated complexity, and knows firsthand what a high-performing product organization looks like.
*We are open to remote candidates for this role.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with product leadership and delivery teams to identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our product development processes.

  • Design, execute, and iterate on high-impact processes, i.e., roadmap prioritization and communication, solution impact sizing, quarterly planning, release management, goal-setting frameworks, post-launch processes, and shared rituals.

  • Operationalize a strategy for gathering and synthesizing customer insights into actionable planning.

  • Ensure flawless product releases through documentation, enablement, and context sharing across the organization.

  • Identify and remove friction points in collaboration between Product, Engineering, Design and Research, Analytics, and cross-functional teams to drive seamless execution.

  • Develop and deliver training content to support Product Managers in improving their craft, including reiterating learnings and frameworks from org-wide training, and creating knowledge-sharing opportunities.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to product teams, proactively identifying challenges and enabling teams with clear solutions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement product metrics that measure adoption, value, and business outcomes across the product portfolio.

  • Define and measure success for operational improvements, collecting and analyzing relevant data to refine approaches and drive continuous improvement.

  • Champion best practices for our product tool stack and coach team members to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation and artifacts for clarity across cross-functional partners and stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in product operations, product management, or enablement roles.

  • Deep understanding of the product discipline and firsthand experience with high-performing product organizations.

  • Direct experience in building, managing, and iterating on product development life cycle processes for enterprise-grade products.

  • Strong leadership and influence skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive change in a complex, cross-functional environment.

  • Systems thinker, able to design frameworks and approaches that work across multiple teams and evolving needs.

  • Exceptional communicator with an ability to distill complexity into clarity and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proactive problem solver who takes a structured yet flexible approach.

  • Passion for enabling others to do their best work and creating an environment where products can flourish.

  • Direct experience facilitating alignment amongst key partners and stakeholders to drive successful product outcomes.

  • Experience working with SAFe methodology, sprint-based approaches, and taking a prioritized, pragmatic approach to ensure the most impactful products get built and delivered on time.

  • Strong expertise with MS productivity tools (Office, Teams), product analytics and pathing tools (e.g., Pendo, Amplitude, FullStory, WhatFix), collaboration and work management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro, Slack).
