Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fire Alarm Inspector to help support our client and service the Austin, TX area. The Fire Alarm Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities: * Conduct regular inspections and tests of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality. * Identify and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm systems and recommend necessary repairs or replacements. * Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities. * Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations. * Collaborate with other safety professionals and building management to ensure comprehensive fire safety. * Provide training and guidance to building occupants on fire alarm procedures and safety protocols. * Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to fire alarm systems. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in fire alarm systems preferred.. * Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including installation, testing, and maintenance. * Familiarity with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations and codes. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
