As the Head of Transformation, you will be a critical execution partner and thought leader for the overall Global Professional Services team. This role encompasses program management, change management, and organizational development. In alignment with the Professional Services Strategy, you will be responsible for facilitating the prioritization of business initiatives, creating the transformation process and associated playbook for Salesforce's Global Professional Services business while simultaneously leading our key strategic programs. This position requires a blend of operations, program management, and change leadership skills to drive transformational change. You will play a key role in leading and contributing to the growth, development, and overall health of the organization, working closely with key cross-functional partners to align our strategic business priorities with execution and implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the office of the President, Global Professional Services, with the prioritization of business initiatives, cascading from our global strategy

  • Develop and implement our organizational transformation process and playbook, including communication plans, sponsorship roadmaps, training plans, audience impact analysis, and change readiness assessments.

  • Coach and guide project teams and senior business leaders on the impact and process of business transformation, ensuring active and visible sponsorship.

  • Define success metrics and monitor the change process for critical programs, identifying, managing, and mitigating potential resistance.

  • Lead a small team of program and change managers, contributing to the transformational methodology and leading high-impact programs, rotating customer-facing professionals in and out of the team, as needed.

  • Establish and run an efficient business cadence, driving business reviews with executive stakeholders, annual planning, headcount/budget management, conflict management, and organizational communications.

  • Utilize financial acumen to articulate the financial impacts of strategic choices, serving as an air traffic controller for the leader, executive team, and key partners. Develop and execute communication plans to ensure strategic alignment.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in business transformation and operations leadership within a professional services organization, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focused on operational transformation and program management.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale global, cross-functional, high-impact programs.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align transformation strategies with organizational goals.

  • Familiarity with global market trends and ability to drive strategic initiatives across multiple geographies.

  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.

  • Experience with professional services analytics, workforce planning, and organizational development.

  • Strong understanding of compliance, policies, and best practices.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce technology platforms and solutions.

  • Customer-facing experience managing enterprise-wide technology implementations and leveraging digital solutions.

  • Experience working with leadership to analyze performance indicators, identify areas to be optimized, develop recommendations, and ensure implementation of solutions.

  • Ability to quickly adjust to changing circumstances, embrace new ideas, and navigate uncertainty during the transformation process.

  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to articulate the financial impacts of strategic decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work streams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on theValues & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $214,800 to $327,600. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $214,800 to $327,600. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
