Marketing Coordinator

Are you a skilled marketer looking for your next challenge? Mead & Hunt, a top engineering consulting firm, is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to write/edit proposals, develop marketing materials and thought leadership content, and help us expand our client base within the food and beverage market segment. Join our team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will work on exciting projects in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry which help our clients produce the food and beverages you buy at the grocery store.
Ideal locations would be Madison, WI; West Allis, WI; Denver, CO; St. Louis, MO; or Minneapolis, MN.

The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling six years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related discipline plus 2 years of experience OR associate degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related discipline plus 4 years of experience OR no degree plus 6 years of experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the proposal development process including writing and editing proposal elements
  • Review proposals and other written content for clarity, grammar, consistency, etc.
  • Development of marketing content/materials in collaboration with technical staff (project descriptions, resumes, cut sheets, etc.)
  • Creating and producing interview materials such as presentations, exhibits and handouts
  • Conducting client research
  • Attending tradeshows and conferences including event coordination
  • Assisting with annual marketing planning efforts
  • Perform CRM database updates including data management and reporting
  • Travel may be required

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all the following:

  • Writing and editing of documents with technical content
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Working with team members in multiple locations
  • Proven organization, problem solving and strong communication skills
  • Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry is a plus
