1: This position is hybrid (3 days onsite) in our FIS Office locations in Milwaukee (Wisconsin) Jacksonville (Florida) & Atlanta (Georgia).

About the role:
As a Systems Administrator/Application Support Engineer, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks and invests. You'll be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance.

What you will be doing:

  • Deployment of Unity and surrounding products on new virtual servers.

  • Work with engineers located locally and overseas

  • Deploying and maintaining Unity in UAT & production, pre-prod and test and performance environments

  • Open technical cases with hardware & software vendors to resolve problems

  • Analytical problem-solving skills for complex multi-tiered applications

  • Ability to trouble shoot through use of wire shark and browser development tools

  • Broad technology knowledge with automation software

  • Diagnostic work to get to root cause of any issues

  • Disaster recovery testing / planning

  • Providing feedback to Development on needed improvements on serviceability

  • Willingness to participate in non-standard working-time models to include: Monday - Friday 24 hours/day, Weekends 24 hours/day

  • Experience with Windows

  • Experience in Oracle and SQL Server Database running basic queries to view tables.

  • Self-motivated, self-reliant, ability to work without direct supervision

What you will need:

  • Knowledge and experience with SQL Server Database technologies

  • Knowledge and experience with RedHat Linux OS

  • Knowledge and experience with IDP / SSO, WAF

  • Knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2008, 2016, 2019, 2022

  • Knowledge and experience with IIS, Apache (reverse proxy)

  • Knowledge and experience with Windows security

  • Knowledge and experience with load balanced applications. (NetScaler preferred)

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or the equivalent experience.

Added bonus if you have:

Experience with following products helpful:

  • Octopus - Automation tool to deploy releases, patches etc.

  • Sisense - Reporting tool for data analytics (similar to Oracle BI)

  • Decisions - Workflows
