PURPOSE
This position is responsible for assigned accounts on the company's balance sheet. This is a critical role requiring focus, attention to detail and accuracy. The Accountant 1 - Fixed Assets employee will be expected to take ownership of projects, independently research and resolve issues, and see tasks through to completion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain all records, reconciliations, and account balances related to Fixed Assets and Depreciation, including Construction In Progress
- Perform annual physical audit of Fixed Assets
- Perform tagging of Fixed Assets
- Prepare quarter end reporting for Auditors and internal management reporting.
- Provide continuous process improvement and innovation as applicable.
- Maintain excellent records to support SOX compliance for internal and external reporting requirements.
- Prepare analytics for management as requested.
- Advise the Accounting Supervisor and other management of issues requiring their attention.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.

- Experience with Fixed Assets and related topics
- Knowledge of and ability to apply professional accounting principles and concepts (US GAAP)
- Good knowledge and understanding of financial and management accounting, process and systems.
- Excellent verbal, writing, and organizational skills
- Highly accurate and detail oriented
- Solid Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience working with an integrated ERP system
- Strong interpersonal and independent work skills
- Assertiveness and strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Team player with ability to work and cooperate with others to complete projects and tasks according to established guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or accounting certificate (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience
The pay range for this role in Beaverton, OR is between $60,600 and $79,590
. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
