Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift Remote opportunities available in the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 4:30PM OverviewThe Specialty Authorization Coordinator works closely with clinical departments to ensure all drug and procedural benefits are obtained prior to patient treatment. Accurate assessment and review of patient treatment plans is required to obtain pre-certification requirements, location approval for treatment and duration approved for care. Excellent customer service skills required. Ability to work within treatment plans and maintain positive relationships with clinical departments. Able to determine adequacy and skills of drug dose calculations as deemed necessary by physicians and pharmacy. Education
