Technical Writer - HW/CPU/RISC-V
Looking for a solid Tech Writer with a solid background in creating tech docs, develop manuals, produce PowerPoints presentations. This will require synthesizing complex technical info and translate into clear prose for different audiences. Interest or experience in AI/ML SW/HW is a huge plus.
Scope:
* Develop, write, & maintain technical docs - Including user manuals, system guides, & technical specifications.
* Create engaging/informative PowerPoint presentations which will support internal/external comms.
* Work with engineers, product managers, & SMEs to gather info & understand technical concepts.
* Translate complex tech info into clear, concise, & accurate content which can be easily understood by various audiences.
* Develop training materials/curriculum to support product education & user adoption.
* Stay current with industry trends/emerging techs, particularly in AI/ML, to ensure docs remain relevant/accurate.
Required:
* Degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Computer Science, or similar.
* Curriculum development, training development, training & educational tools/materials development.
* 4-5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the HW or tech industry.
* Ability to create clear, concise, & well-structured docs for complex tech topics.
* Strong abilities in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word/PowerPoint.
* Experience with documentation tools & software - MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence is a plus.
* Familiar with AI/ML concepts & tech, or a strong interest in learning about them.
Estimated Min Rate: $40.00
Estimated Max Rate: $50.00
