Job Description

Primary Function: Responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the Quality Management System in order to ensure all products meets customer quality requirements.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates, implements and provides training on Quality procedures.
  • Maintains all necessary Quality, Nadcap, and customer certifications.
  • Functions as the Lead Auditor for PCC Ogden.
  • Manages the internal audit system.
  • Engaged in PCC Ogden risk management process.
  • Initiates Corrective Actions and verifies robustness of responses.
  • Ensures that customer requirements are met by managing the certification process.
  • Coordinates customer concerns and complaints to obtain resolution.
  • Provides advice to Management on quality-related issues and requirements.
  • Functions as the lead for AS9100, Nadcap, NQA-1 and customer audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Familiar with AS9100 quality system requirements.
  • Able to work in a production environment.
  • Able to read and comprehend English.
  • Able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Able to apply concepts of fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions.
  • Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical specifications and requirements documents.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Competencies:

  • Certified Quality Engineer Certification
  • Lead Auditor Certification
