The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
  • Providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
  • Obtaining comprehensive patient histories and performs physical exam for both new and return patients.
  • Performing pre-operative, post operative and urgent ORL evaluations in the ORL clinic.
  • Assisting with procedures both in the clinic setting and in the operating room.
  • Participates in multidisciplinary clinics and communicate effectively with all members of the team.
  • Ordering necessary diagnostic tests, consultations and procedures and issuing appropriate prescriptions/medications.
  • Actively participating in Department of ORL educational meetings and conferences.
  • Participating in research project opportunities.
  • Working 40 hours per week, four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday and will rotate between Boston, Lexington, Waltham, Needham, Weymouth as well as North Dartmouth and Peabody as needed

To qualify, you must have:

  • A current Massachusetts PA or NP license. If a Nurse Practitioner, must also have a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification
  • Previous OR experience is preferred
  • Prior Otolaryngology/Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
  • New grad PAs will be considered.
