Inova Community Health is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Team. This hybrid role will be full-time day-shift from Monday - Friday.

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for a broad range of financial analysis, reporting, and data management/analytics activities.

Sr. Financial Analyst Job Responsibilities:



  • Assists with a broad range of finance and analytical functions including but not limited to budgeting and forecasting, financial analytics and reporting, profitability and utilization analysis, data management, presentation development, benchmarking, month-end close support, and various other special projects.
  • Performs financial analysis and pro forma business case models to support service line growth and profitability initiatives.
  • Collaborates with clinical and non-clinical areas of the health system to develop and communicate analyses to assist with and drive financial, clinical, and operational strategies and insights.
  • Partners with and develop strong relationships with internal clients throughout the organization.
  • Manages and leads concurrent projects and multiple work streams across the organization and prepares ad-hoc analysis requests for management in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Creates and maintains financial business intelligence dashboards, reporting packages, etc.
  • Provides shared support for routine department/division processes.


Sr. Financial Analyst Additional Requirements:



  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; Hybrid
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, economics, business management, or other related field, or equivalent experience working in the accounting or finance field
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, economics, business management financial analytics/informatics, or other related field


Sr. Financial Analyst Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous experience working with grants preferred.
  • Previous experience working with community health preferred.
  • Previous audit experience preferred.
  • Previous experience using Oracle ERP preferred.
