Business Incubation Program:

The UCF Business Incubation Program is a university-driven community partnership providing tools, training, and infrastructure that enables early-stage, scalable companies to become high-growth enterprises anchored in Central Florida. With nine incubator sites across Metro Orlando, the Incubation Program is a key contributor to the economic development and vitality of the region.

The Opportunity:

The UCF Business Incubation Program (UCFBIP) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Coordinator to support the daily operations of our incubator in Kissimmee, FL. Working closely with the Site Manager and UCF Incubation Program team, this position plays a key role in operational support, client support, event coordination, marketing efforts, and facility management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment fostering high-growth businesses and extensive collaboration with other support organizations.

This position is onsite and located in 400 Emmett Street, Kissimmee, FL 34741.

Responsibilities:

Administrative & Program Support:


  • Provide direct administrative support to the Site Manager, including scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence.

  • Assist with tracking program activities, client progress, and data entry into CRM or reporting systems.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials as needed.

  • Manage office supplies and vendor coordination.


Event Coordinator & Marketing:


  • Assist in the planning, logistics, and execution of incubator-hosted events, including workshops, networking sessions, and meetings.

  • Coordinate event registration, communication, and attendee follow-ups.

  • Support marketing efforts related to event promotion (e.g., email reminders, social media updates, and printed materials).

  • Create innovative and relevant content to increase the visibility of Incubator, clients, and graduates.


Client Engagement & Customer Service:


  • Serve as a point of contact for incubator clients and guests, addressing inquiries and facilitating requests.

  • Provide a welcoming and professional office environment for entrepreneurs, visitors, and partners.

  • Assist with client onboarding, program participation tracking, and engagement efforts.


Facility Oversight:


  • Ensure the incubator's workspace is well-maintained, organized, and fully operational.

  • Address minor facility issues and liaise with appropriate staff or vendors for maintenance concerns.

  • Maintain meeting room schedules and assist with setup for events and presentations.


Special Projects & Additional Support:


  • Assist with research, data collection, and reporting for special incubator initiatives.

  • Support economic development efforts, including engagement with community partners and local stakeholders.

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the incubator's operations and client experience.


Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative, customer support, or program support within a corporate or higher education environment.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting the execution of event planning and marketing initiatives.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • A proven history of delivering exceptional customer service and possessing strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with project management experience being a plus.


Special Instructions to the Applicants:

This is a Contract and Grant (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.

This is a full-time (40 hrs/week) OPS (Other Personnel Services) position, eligible for State of Florida Group Insurance Program Benefits.
