This Intern will be responsible for: Assisting in consenting and recruiting patients for research studies. Providing background information regarding studies to families, communicating all policies and procedures, and responding to all inquiries Serving as liaison to the families/patients in the research studies, conducted at both on site and off-site locations. Coordinating follow up visits as necessary. Acting as a resource to study participants Assisting in creating and preparing data and analytical summaries for distribution to study research team for review and analysis Participating in the training of newly hired research study assistants, as required Coordinating activities between the hospital and research laboratories to ensure correct testing/processing and sending out instructions specific to the study. Reviewing data collection and data entry, and informed consent procedures ensuring consistency of application for each study Performing other administrative duties as assigned or required Answering, screening and routing telephone calls as needed To qualify, you must have: Completed a minimum of 1 year of education at a 4 year College or University Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data The ability to understand and respond to written or verbal instructions Boston Children's Hospital requires all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and Flu, (unless you are eligible for a medical or religious exemption).
