Essential Job Duties
The Lab Assistant will construct and evaluate polymer-based electrode materials for use in a lithium-based battery. The Assistant will synthesize the polymer following an established process in the Fedkiw lab. Data analysis and report writing are required. Maintenance of glove box and other electrochemical laboratory equipment is required.

Work Schedule Monday-Friday between 8 am and 5 pm.

Order lab supplies, as needed.
Minimum Experience/Education
BS Chemical Engineering

Candidate must have following skills/experience:

  • Polymer synthesis using a Schlenk line; operation and maintenance of an Ar-filled glove box
  • Capable of programming and operating battery-cycler equipment.

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Minimum of one-year of experience in an electrochemical laboratory.
