Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required.

Work Experiences:

  • 5+ years systems/process analyst or related analytical work experience required.

  • Excellent interpersonal written, verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast paced, frequently changing environment while remaining detailed and organized.
  • Ability to elicit requests from business teams and translate into functional requirements for system enhancements.
  • Strong business acumen with fluency in merchandising processes, KPI's, and retail math coupled with an understanding of how system tools are interconnected and work.
  • Maintain the customer's perspective as a driving force behind business decisions and activities.
  • Ability to build and establish good interpersonal relationships with internal and external partners to support business needs.
  • Responds positively to change, embracing and using new practices or values to accomplish goals and solve problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns all functional aspects of administering and managing the business systems and optimization of processes through the collaboration and partnerships with the respective business and IT teams
  • Advocate for business teams in interactions with IT, software vendors, and consultants regarding support, maintenance, and projects. Identify process improvements and provide viable recommendations for current and future systems
  • Responsible for the day-to-day support of the applications including set-up, configuration changes, maintenance of security, and communication of resolution relating to assigned systems
  • Acts as subject matter expert representing their systems and business area in the broader context of Enterprise systems and process design to optimize business decisions and activities while reducing workload
  • Defines and manages foundational data and metric requirements for designated systems
  • Contribute to the design, development, and enhancements of reporting for the supporting business units
  • Develop an understanding of merchandising concepts and system integration and makes critical business process and system design decisions to pursue timely completion of business initiatives to improve accuracy, measure improvement and/or add efficiencies to processes and systems as per business requirement
  • Provide requirements to IT Business Architects on behalf of business teams for system projects
  • Provide ongoing support on systems and processes for business teams
  • Plan and manage UAT testing efforts for projects assigned
  • Work with Training Dept to develop curriculum and/or execute end user training
  • Support user security and access role levels for designated systems
  • Troubleshoot system related issues, escalate Help Desk tickets and Technical Support tracks
  • Acts as administrator for Foundation Data elements in Oracle RMS, NACHO and other system tools related to Item, Differentiators, and attributes for item setup
  • Executes/coordinates assortment-wide attribute population/maintenance efforts on behalf of merchant/planning teams
  • Identifies quick-win data sources to automate to eliminate manual enrichment effort downstream
  • May perform operational execution of sku creation for key business areas or special projects
  • Coordinates RMS Reclass effort
  • Ability to configure PIM platforms (e.g., setting up validation rules, workflows, or data models) to enforce data quality standards
  • Identifies quick-win data sources to automate to eliminate manual enrichment effort
  • Tracks the effectiveness of implemented PIM enhancements and controls, including monitoring key data quality metrics over time and uses insights to recommend further PIM enhancements
  • Works closely with Content Enrichment Specialists and vendor partners to understand their needs and pain points within the PIM. Acts as a liaison between these teams and the Item Master Data Organization to ensure that standards are practically executable
  • May perform operational execution of item enrichment for key business areas or special projects.
  • Acts as administrator for Foundation Data elements in RMS related to Item, Differentiators, and attributes for Fanatics and other Dropship item setups.
  • Builds and maintains processes to receive and transpose Fanatics/Dropship vendor product data for mass population into RMS.
  • Coordinates with eCom Drop Ship and Fanatics/Dropship vendors for standardized data receipt, prioritization and execution tracking.
  • Maintains and publishes Fanatics business rules, processes, and template documentation.
  • Interprets and executes item definition needs based on raw information provided including the organizing of product data into meaningful assortment groups for display on Academy.com
  • Provides reporting of Fanatics sku completion and performance
  • Performs operational execution of sku creation for Fanatics
  • Works with Merchants, eCom Team and Vendors to ensure item definition follows MDM strategies
  • Advocates for business teams in interactions with IT, vendors, and consultants regarding projects relative to Fanatics/Dropship and provide viable recommendations for current and future processes.
  • Duties may change; Team Member may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

    Item/Foundation Data:

    • Assignedsystems/processes include item/foundation data creation/maintenance in Oracle RMS and custom tool sets.
    • Manage and enforce documented Item Business Definition Rules.
    • Work with business teams to coordinate business rules for item attribution.
    • Define, implement, and manage methods of monitoringmasterdata quality.
    • Serve as administrator for custom tool set for creating/maintaining foundation data.
    • Coordinate sku creation for major buying cycles for both branded and private label product.
    • Support creation and management of scan sheets for key hot market periods.
