DAS PCB Business Development Manager

Job Purpose:

The DAS PCB Business Development Manager will develop relationships within Militarytarget customers to penetrate organization and open doors to new business opportunities for the assigned Printed Circuit Board Business unit. The ideal candidate will deploy account strategies in conjunction with Management in order to achieve goals and objectives set for the business. TheBDMwill be responsible for aggressively pursuing Printed Circuit Board business to ensure market share growth and position the Interconnect Technology Group for future business successes. In addition, this person must have a proven track record in generating profitable business growth in the Electronics market.

Nature of Duties:




  • This person will also be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenues targets.



  • TheBDMwill communicate issues and problems to Management in order to drive and assist with resolution.



  • TheBDMwill regularly update IT system with required data such as customer information, new opportunity logs and call plans.



  • The successful candidate must have an understanding of Printed Circuit Board fabrication methods as well as the technical background to engage in capability discussions with Engineering, Quality and Procurement organizations.



  • This person must also have the ability to work collaboratively with the Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams within Sanmina.



  • The successful candidate must be able to develop, prepare and present high quality Sales presentations



  • The BDM will research, identify profile, prioritize, and penetrate DAS accounts.



  • The BDM will support initiatives and will manage the customer relationships.



  • Works closely with Plant Management, Program Managers (PMs), Global Account Managers (GAMs), Engineering, & Operations Executive.



  • Provides leadership to BDMs & PMs to ensure realistic customer expectations, operational performance, and that program-related decisions, schedules, and budgets are guided by the terms and conditions of the contractual agreement(s).



  • Oversees communications with Sanmina plants to ensure products have a smooth and timely progression throughout all phases of the business transfer and ramp to production.



  • Oversees the gathering of site operations data and performance metrics and effective site-level materials management and production scheduling.



  • Responsible for metrics, monitoring and managing actions to close all financial gaps for Raytheon.



  • Understands and presents Sanmina offerings for end-to-end solutions and directs customer appropriately towards additional or alternative Sanmina components, products, and services.




Education and Experience:




  • BA or BS qualified, MBA preferred



  • 5+ years Account Management



  • Strong project management skills with excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task, and organize



  • Knowledge of FARs and DFARs



  • Knowledge of trade compliance (ITAR/EAR)



  • Excellent MS Office skills; MS PowerPoint andMS Project Expertise is required



  • Excellent Communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills



  • Strong project manager with excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize



  • The ability to travel when required



  • A history of establishing strong relationships at Key OEM Customers.
