The Counseling Center assists NC State students experiencing personal, academic or vocational problems. The goal of the Counseling Center is to provide students with professional counseling services and outreach to help them cope with issues that may impede successful academic performance. The Counseling Center also offers crisis intervention and psychological/psychiatric assessment as well as consultation with others who have concerns about the mental/emotional state of NC State students. Our services are primarily short-term in nature and we make referrals to other helping professionals and community agencies as appropriate.Members of the counseling center commit to:

Primary Purpose of Position:
- Provide oversight of medical records maintenance and release, psychiatry billing, office purchases, travel and general Financial and HR functions.
- Create billing for Psychiatry visits using SHS software
- Create direct bills to No Show clients
- Manage grant expenditures, invoices and payments
- Serve as primary accounting support:
- Receive authorize prepare voucher entries,
- Process departmental vouchers,
- Establish new vendors,
- Reconcile departmental PCards,
- Submit travel reimbursement,
- Create and review and receive MarketPlace orders
- Monitor expenditures on a daily basis for compliance with University and State regulations; work with business and purchasing department to create vendor agreements; track and submit contract payments;
- Organize speakers and presenters for continuing education for practitioners (a professional requirement)
- Prepare/maintain Independent Contractor contracts and paperwork following University guidelines on independent Contractors

Minimum Experience/Education |
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related business discipline; or equivalent combination of training and experience. |
