Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Technician will be responsible for internal Quality issues and lab testing for a Protective Film Manufacturing facility.

Nature of Duties

• Perform all lab testing such as: Adhesion Peels, Coat Weight Testing and other testing as required.
• Compile and issue all customer CoA and CoC's
• Review and file all supplier CoA and CoC's (electronic and paper copies)
• Gather all quality paperwork, retains, and SPC charts from the floor daily. Review for any missing data or discrepancies and file. Maintain the compliance of the documentation based on quality standards.
• Manage the plant on hold area including dispositioning items on hold, report out daily on items in the hold area, keep the area organized and clean, work with the quality supervisor to launch NCPs to suppliers as necessary.
• Spot audit the production floor to ensure quality checks are being completed and quality product is being produced.
• Answer quality calls from production personnel and be able to make decisions regarding the quality of the product.
• Perform other duties as required.
