PSC Group is now hiring a full-time, essential Coordinator to join our team at a brand new-start-of-the-art facility in Monaca, PA. The coordinator is responsible for providing inbound and outbound coordination of stock and non-stock materials and equipment. This role will serve as the focal point of logistics activities and communicate to all customers, trade compliancies and carriers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, advanced computer skills in all facets, and demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a chemical plant environment.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 12 hour day shifts

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receives, processes, and follows-up on all shipments from internal customers
  • Prepares all documentation for international and domestic shipments
  • Identifies all transportation requirements on site
  • Prepares booking and delivery instructions for carriers
  • Generates services rates (type of transport, standard or permitted loads, etc)
  • Tracks and manages the transportation cost
  • Communicates shipment status and service issues both internal and external
  • Takes ownership of customer issues and following problems through to resolution
  • Works closely with Customs to ensure compliance with US classifications
  • Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job


Job Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office & SAP experience is preferred, but not required
  • Two years of experience in a logistics or transportation role is preferred, but not required
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Speak fluent English
  • PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
