Job Title - Azure Cloud engineer (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with 7 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks Azure and Azure Activity Log. Experience consuming Azure Activity Logs and Databricks Diagnostic Logs to supervise and alert on compliance issues like tagging naming etc.

• Own the design and implementation of cloud solutions using Databricks and Azure Databricks.
• Coordinate the management and monitoring of Azure cloud environments.
• Guide in applying Azure Activity Log for supervising and solving.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure flawless integration of cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using best practices and industry standards.
• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud solutions in accordance with company policies.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in cloud technologies and standard methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Chip in to the development of automation scripts and tools for cloud management.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies.
• Work closely with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document cloud architectures processes and procedures for future reference.

• Must have strong experience in Databricks and Azure Databricks.
• Must have expertise in Azure and Azure Activity Log.
• Nice to have experience in Networks Cards & Payments domains.
• Must have excellent problem-solving and solving skills.
• Must have strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Nice to have experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
• Must have a proven understanding of cloud security and compliance.
• Must have the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
• Must have experience in optimizing cloud resources for performance and cost.
• Must have the ability to work in a hybrid work model.
• Must have the ability to work in day shifts.
• Must have the ability to detail technical processes and procedures.
• Must have the ability to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies.

The annual salary for this position is between $49,000 - $107,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
