Job Overview

Essential Functions

The main research project is to develop novel electrocatalysts and photocatalysts for organic transformations. We have various analytical, electrochemical, and spectroscopic instruments available for the catalytic studies. Particular emphasis is on the synthesis of organic and organometallic complexes with targeted activity under either electrochemical or photochemical conditions.

Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. in Chemistry or related fields.

Required Education

Doctoral Degree in the appropriate field or discipline, or the recognized terminal degree

Required Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of specialized field, process or discipline.
  • May require experience with specialized software programs.

Additional Qualifications:

Previous experiences in electrochemistry, photochemistry, organic and organometallic synthesis, and catalytic studies.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
