Job Description

Danfoss Turbocor in Tallahassee, FL is searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Intern to join our team from May 2025 to the end of 2026. This role offers hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshoot and repair. The Engineering Intern will also assist in creating, updating, and organizing maintenance documentation to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

o Assist in test equipment mechanical and/or electrical troubleshoot and repair.

o Conduct regular equipment inspection and preventive maintenance.

o Assist in the creation and revision of maintenance manuals, procedures, and guidelines.

o Organize and maintain documentation files and databases.

o Collaborate with maintenance and Lab team to gather necessary information.

o Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards.

o Support the implementation of documentation control processes.

o Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.

o Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.

Education and/or Experience

o Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, or industrial maintenance.

o Availability and commitment to work on-site; 40 hours per week during the summer and 20 hours per week during the fall/spring semesters.

o Experience with the MS Office suite.

o Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the work site.

o Well-organized and detail oriented.

o Strong communication skills.

o An ongoing desire to learn and seek out new information.

Preferred Qualifications: (Education, Skills, Experience, and/or Languages that are nice to have but not required):

o Understanding of maintenance processes and terminology.
