Education Abroad Coordinator

Monday-Friday 8:15am-4:30pm on campus with one day a week remote. Occasional needs for weekend or evenings for student events.

This position is critical to the ability of the Office of Education Abroad to fulfill its mission. The person in this position is the "face" of Education Abroad and interacts constantly with students. They serve as the primary advisor to all students interested in studying abroad. They also coordinate all inbound and outbound student exchanges with international partner institutions. The administrative needs of these programs are considerable and are therefore both time and work intensive.

Coordinate both inbound and outbound student exchanges with international partner institutions, and communicate regularly with the latter

Advise students about study abroad programs and scholarships

Help coordinate and serve at both fall and spring study abroad fairs and events

Serve as the campus representative of NKU on the board of the Kentucky Institute for International Studies and perform all duties assigned to this position

Coordinate and communicate with campus partners

Assist in the coordination of international programs hosted by NKU

Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience required.

Microsoft Office Suite; strong communication skills; preferred experience in SAP and Slate; highly organized and strong attention to details; strong interpersonal and intercultural skills. Knowledge of a second language preferred.

Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
