*Clinical billing experience is a huge plus* *Description* We are seeking a Epic Research Billing Build Analyst to join our Patient Financial Services team. This role is crucial to the success of our research billing program, ensuring accurate clinical trials billing records, compliant charge routing, and precise grant payments. Key Responsibilities: Complete Epic research billing protocols for new clinical trials, collaborating with study start-up staff and validating data from the OnCore Clinical Trial Management System. Participate in study initiation meetings to ensure all necessary information is included in the research billing protocol and RSH record. Maintain and revise research billing protocols, managing documentation and resolution of billing grid revisions. Identify and address research process deviations, providing support to the Epic Clinical Trials Billing Team and research study teams. Maintain Epic's Research Billing Certification through ongoing testing, review of release notes, and system IT support. *Skills* Epic, Epic certified *Top Skills Details* Epic,Epic certified *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Epic Certification Required: Epic Research Support Project with Billing Tools Emphasis Strong understanding of clinical research processes and patient workflows; inclusive of IRB study approval, patient enrollment, encounter registration, research billing review, grant payment processing and insurance claim form requirements. Recognize the impact of myriad Epic system settings on research billing workflows and experience developing testing plans prior to implementation. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and demonstrated organizational abilities. Requires high level of analytical ability, and strong knowledge of system analysis and data gathering techniques. Ability to work independently towards specific goals and objectives and provide recommendations for improvement. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to apply toward high-priority assignments in order to meet established deadlines. Proficient computing skills, specifically healthcare related billing platforms, MS Office Products. Reporting abilities through business objects, crystal reporting, etc. Preferred Skills & Experience: EPIC and OnCore experience preferred. Completion of the following Epic coursework: GEN006, GEN606, PRE051, PRE052, RSH100, RSH405, and CLN205v. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Experience with clinical trials billing and research billing protocols. Required Certification within 6 months of the start date: Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) from Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) within 6 months of the start date OR Hospital Business Institute (HBI) Certification from the Hospital Business Institute. Required Education: High School Diploma / GED. Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $95.50/hr.
