About This Role

The Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University, invites applications for a clinical or tenure track faculty position in diagnostic imaging. The successful candidate will join a diagnostic imaging section that includes three faculty radiologists, three current residents, one specialty intern and five service-dedicated technicians. The Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University is home to a state-of-the-art imaging facility which includes large and small animal computed and digital radiology, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, 128 slice helical computed tomography (with large animal imaging table) and a 3T Toshiba magnet with large animal capabilities. Directed clinical service will include delivery of imaging services to small, large, and exotic animal patients in the Veterinary Health Center. Teaching responsibilities include instruction of veterinary students, interns, and residents in clinical rounds, and didactic lectures. Opportunities exist for collaboration across a broad range of basic and clinical sciences within the College of Veterinary Medicine. What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • DVM or equivalent degree, be ACVR or ECVDI certified, or be eligible to take the certifying examination. Competence in general radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, MRI and CT is required.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Advanced clinical training, advanced academic degree, and/or specialty status in a relevant discipline is preferred and required for a tenure track position.
