Presentation Specialist

Job Description

The Presentation Specialist works with new or existing presentation to create visually appealing, persuasive, effective presentations, and environmental branding. Presentation Specialists add animations, photographs, charts and graphs, and work with colors, fonts, and sizes to make brand compliant presentations. They may also design their own graphic elements. This is a term position ending June 30, 2026.

Responsibilities

-- Help communicate the story of the new Inpatient Tower and our facilities, to our various audiences including executive leaders, staff, patients, donors, etc.

-- Collaborate with clients, presenters, and stakeholders to understand the presentation's objectives and incorporate feedback.

-- Recommend content edits that enhance the storytelling.

-- Review content for errors in grammar, punctuation, and layout, and make necessary corrections.

-- Helps with editing content published on Health amp; Discovery and shortening for storyscapes for environmental branding.

-- Attend rehearsals and make on-the-fly design changes.

-- Design presentation templates for clients in accordance with brand guidelines.

-- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines, especially for presentations scheduled for conferences or important business meetings.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication or a related field is often preferred but not always required. Specialized training in presentation design can be advantageous. Minimum two years work experience.

Practical experience in presentation design or graphic design

Proficiency in presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, or Google Slides, as well as graphic design softwares like Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure that presentations are error-free and visually polished.
