The Director, Acute Care Consumer Experience guides the planning, execution, and oversight of Consumer Experience initiatives across the Henry Ford Health Acute Care hospitals. Works with Acute Care senior leaders, as well as other key clinical, operations and administrative stakeholders-to support strategies, strengthen partnerships and create long- and short-term strategic initiatives to drive exceptional patient, family, and consumer experiences in the acute care setting. * Bachelor's Degree with a Health Care, Science or Business focus. Master's degree preferred. * Prior operational or project management experience desirable. * Deep understanding of the body of knowledge related to care experience. * Knowledge and experience with the use of process improvement methodologies. * Ability to independently manage complex, simultaneous assignments with potentially conflicting priorities and deadlines. * Experience teaching adult learners. * Ability to facilitate teams and help group reach consensus on complex issues. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff across the organization. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to examine data for trends and the ability to turn data into information for action.
