Job Tittle: SQL Database Administrator (Hybrid)

Work Location: Dearborn, MI

Job Summary

This position is for an expert SQL database administrator. The main project will involve migration of SQL Server databases and associated tables stored procedures triggers jobs and data to Google Cloud Platform hosted PostgreSQL. Deep knowledge of SQL Server PostgreSQL and migrations issues between them are needed. Beyond the initial migration project ongoing SQL development tasks related to maintaining IDs and analyzing data and providing reports will be necessary

Experience Required

• Should have 8 Plus years between SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Must have optimally completed at least one large scale migration of SQL Server to PostgreSQL.
• Should be comfortable using Jenkins jobs with Flyway to complete queries and be able to help others with their queries.
• Any additional experience with Elastic ELK would be valuable.

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until March/14/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $73,350 to $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
