Overview

Serves the company by managing all aspects of Ground Operations logistics for all stations to ensure appropriate uniforms, linens/blankets, and PPE are stocked and distributed worldwide. Provide high level of superior service to customers of all business units and departments, while controlling costs related to Ground Operations.



Responsibilities

    Primary point of contact within the department for logistical support to all international and domestic stations.
  • Create and maintain Ground Operations uniform ordering and distribution process and procedures to include stock levels at key locations in the network.
  • Manage the distribution of Ground Operations uniform orders to ensure cost efficiency and remain within the budget.
  • Create and maintain linens/blankets ordering and distribution process and procedures to include stock levels at key locations in the network.
  • Manage the distribution of linens/blankets to ensure cost efficiency and remain within the budget.
  • Develop and continuously update departmental SOPs
  • Work as the liaison for the company to AMC with the CAC requests, renewals, applications, and finger printing.
  • Maintain AMC CAC database in Veoci.
  • Create and maintain Ground Operations PPE ordering and distribution process and procedures to include stock levels at key locations in the network.
  • Manage the distribution of Ground Operations PPE orders to ensure cost efficiency and remain within the budget.
  • For worldwide operations, oversee the operational supply management to include ULD build-up material, shoring, plastic, etc.
  • Work within the Ground Operations program, Veoci, to track Ground Operations logistics.
  • Report key program data to company management.
  • Responsible for achieving all ground operations and corporate goals as related to performance, safety, service, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in periodic meetings with customers and vendors to review potential problem areas and strategies to remedy them.
  • Develop and maintain an operating budget for Ground Operations uniforms, linens/blankets, and supplies.
  • Maintain qualifications related to job duties and responsibilities.
  • Support and assist Ground Operations with special projects, including other inter-departmental assignments.
  • Liaise with different departments in the company, such as SRC, Trainings and Standards, Commercial departments, and others as required.
  • Travel as assigned to stations worldwide in support of Ground Operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in aviation or related industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of logistical needs and coordination.
  • Familiar with all aspects of Ground and Cargo Operations including Loadmaster, handling hazardous materials, de-icing, fueling, catering, security, etc.
  • Experience with using and maintain oversight within the Veoci program.
  • Ability to organize and perform multiple assignments in a high-stress environment.
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and customers at all levels of management.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage the activities of a diverse workforce.
  • Skilled problem solver with leadership qualities.
  • Excellent communication, decision, and management skills.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Salary Range: $73,000 - $98,500
