Position Details University of Colorado | Denver Official Title: Academic Services Professional Working Title: Financial Aid Advisor FTE: Full Time 1.0 (100%) FTE | Hybrid Salary Range: $47,966 - $51,000 Position #00641109- Requisition #XXXXX Join the University of Colorado Denver About the University of Colorado - Denver Job Description * Applications are accepted electronically ONLY at www.cu.edu/cu-careers * As part of the Financial Aid & Scholarships team, the Financial Aid Advisor is primarily responsible for advising students and families regarding educational funding and financial aid processes through two-way conversations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for students with financial situations and needs of moderate complexity. The Financial Aid Advisor meets with students in walk-in or scheduled appointments to address their educational funding needs, including but not limited to: the completion of funding applications, required documentation, and the completion of tasks that lead to the successful disbursement of funding. The Financial Aid Advisor participates in recruitment initiatives and outreach programs, retention work, orientation, and graduation activities. The Financial Aid Advisor works collaboratively with colleagues across campus to provide wrap-around support for all issues, helping students navigate to additional resources as necessary. Some evenings, weekends, and holiday hours may be required. Financial Aid Advisor: What you will do:

Compensation and Benefits The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $47,966 - $51,000. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
